What is stored on your phone?
Çalışmak için Causette aşağıdakileri yalnızca telefonunda saklar. Bunları biz ya da herhangi bir sunucu saklamaz:
To work, Causette stores the following only on your phone. It is never stored by us or on any server:
- Oyuncu olarak yazdığın isimler

- Kendi eklediğin ya da gizlediğin kartlar

- The names you type for players
- Your settings (language, sound, who-answers choice, Spark)
- Which cards were played with which group of people (question memory)
- Cards you add or hide yourself
- A technical event log (the app opening, games starting and ending, connection and error events) and the crash/hang reports iOS hands to the app. It holds no names, cards, chat or room codes; its size is capped and old entries are removed on their own.

If you delete the app, this data is deleted with it.

If you connect phones, they connect directly to each other for that game only. During the game, information such as the card, player names and votes travels between the connected phones. It does not pass through our servers and is not stored. The connection closes when the game ends or you close the app. iOS asks for Local Network permission for this feature.

Online play (in every pack) lets two or more phones play the same table from different places. It needs no account. When you create or join a room, your phone connects over an encrypted connection to a small relay server we run (relay.causette.app, on Cloudflare). During the game only what the game needs passes through it: the room code, the player name you typed, the current card and moves such as next, pass and votes. The chat messages you write in a room take the same route: the server only passes them on to the phones in the room, and does not store or log them. Messages are not end-to-end encrypted, which means they pass through the server while in transit. Chat history stays only on the phones in the room, while the room is open. Only people who know the room code can join.

The relay forwards these messages while the room is open. It does not read, log or store their content. The only thing it keeps is a random identifier of the phone that opened the room; that is deleted 30 minutes after the last phone leaves (a table stays open that long when phones go to the background) or after six hours at most.

The link shared with “Send code” (causette.app/connect/…) carries only the room code. When you open it, the causette.app page shows the code and an App Store button; it does not record the code or you, sets no cookies and keeps no logs. As with any internet connection, your IP address is visible; our infrastructure provider Cloudflare processes it to deliver the connection, and we neither record it nor use it for anything else. You can stop at any time by leaving the room or closing the app.

Purchases are processed by Apple. We never receive your card details, payment information or Apple account. Apple gives developers only aggregated sales and download statistics, which do not identify you.

Third parties and tracking

Causette contains no advertising, analytics or tracking software and does not track you across apps or sites. Online rooms run on Cloudflare’s network (see above); nothing else leaves your phone.
Yedekler
Backups
iPhone yedeğin açıksa Apple uygulama ayarlarını telefon yedeğinin parçası olarak saklayabilir. Bu Apple’ın yedekleme hizmetidir; Causette kendisi iCloud’a bir şey yüklemez.
If your iPhone backup is on, Apple may keep the app’s settings as part of the phone backup. That is Apple’s backup service; Causette itself uploads nothing to iCloud.

When you write with “Send feedback” in the app, you can choose to attach the technical log above to the message as a file (“Attach diagnostics” in Settings; you can turn it off before sending). It reaches us only if you send that message; it is never sent anywhere on its own. We use it only to find the problem you reported and delete it once we are done.

Causette collects personal data from no one, including children. That is why Family mode is safe to use.

Your rights

Because we hold no data about you, there is nothing to access, correct or delete. To remove the data on your phone, just delete the app. For questions under the Turkish KVKK or the GDPR, write to us.

If we add a feature that stores data or needs an account (for example saved answers), we will update this policy before the feature is released and say clearly here what changes.
